The King's Secrets is a one-page social encounter that can be incorporated into Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition campaigns. The content includes an outline for a side quest that involves gathering intel about a King's suspicious behind-closed-doors activities. The players will attend the 20th birthday ball of the King's daughter, Princess Verity, where they must charm the guests into divulging information that could expose the King.

The King's Secrets was written and designed by myself as part of the Storytelling Collective's "Write Your First Encounter" workshop. It was included in Collective Encounters Vol. VI, available on the Dungeon Masters Guild.
